Dead River Company Corporate Office Headquarters The Dead River Company was founded in 1909 and its main product was forest industry. In the 1930s the company decided to purchase a petroleum bulk storage plant and gasoline stations. The petrol business expansion resulted in the Company selling most of their timberland to native tribes in the area. In the 1980s the company made a major petroleum expansion plan. The company decided to sell any remaining interest in the forest products and concentrate on the distribution of petroleum products as well as commercial real estate. The Cpmpany is still family owned and has over 70 years of experience in the fuel oil and propane business.
